My supervision style is very interactive and one of support and guidance. I encourage supervisees to come prepared with questions and topics that they also would like to discuss, so that I can ensure that they are getting what they need out of each supervision. I will also often encourage supervisees to practice daily self-care and maintain appropriate boundaries, as I have found that it helps us to provide quality care to our clients and reduce burnout.
I graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a Masters in Social Work and obtained my LCSW in 2017. While I am currently working as a Social Worker for a Managed Care Organization, the majority of my experience has been in mental health and providing individual/family therapy services to clients. I have experience working in both inpatient psychiatric hospitals as well as outpatient behavioral health clinics.
